How Taking Our FREE Facebook Live Classes Can Help You During Social Distancing

It’s not news to anyone that life is a little different these days. We’ve had to close our doors for the safety of members and staff. And many people are missing the social environment and fun exercise that were a regular part of your lives here at the gym. We get it. We miss you too!

That being said, we still want you to continue working on your fitness goals, and no virus is going to stop us from helping you with that. So, we’ve started conducting FREE exercise classes on Facebook Live. We only include equipment that you have at your home, and we talk you through every rep. Each class is hosted by some of your favorite American Bodyworks trainers, so you can see some friendly faces.

3 Ways These Facebook Live Classes Can Help You During Covid 19

  1. First and foremost, EXERCISE! When you are restricted to your home, you may not feel the motivation you get at the gym. A place where everyone is working towards a fitness goal, and you have the friendly encouragement of our staff. Especially when the couch and the TV are so close! So, the best way to find that motivation is to tune in to see those faces that have been your support leading up to this situation.
  2. These classes help with your mental health, also. We all know that exercise releases the happy hormones. So, when you may not be able to spend time with your friends and family, you may be a little lonely, maybe a little more down than you’re used to. Seeing a live, familiar, friendly face and sweating it out can improve your well-being overall.
  3. We give you a break. Working out is a break? Yes, that’s right. When you’ve spent the whole day staring at a computer screen, helping the kids with their schoolwork, and making meals for the masses, a workout is a break. Tell everyone it’s your me-time and come join us for a good sweat.
